Followers Of Christ Utilizing our talents to Serve and seek after a heart of God.
Focus Ministry Vision
To see a diverse group of young men and women ages 14 to 21, motivated and captivated by the increasing revelation that their lives are not their own, and to be fully sold out to the principles and purpose of God. To see the kingdom of God realized, manifested and experienced through these young men and women as they serve, lead and influence those around them. To become Disciples of Christ who use their gifts for His purpose.

Victory Tabernacle Worship Ministry
Worshipping God involves both attitudes (awe, reverence, respect) and actions (bowing, praising, serving ). Worship is not an unexpressed feeling, nor is it empty formality. True worship involves the mind, emotions and the will. It is based upon clear biblical passages and patterns. True worship must lead to obedient actions that glorify God!
Worship God’s Way
The seven Hebrew words used for our English word “praise” gives us an idea of what God expects in our worship:
1. Halal: To laud, to boast excitedly, celebrate with rejoicing.
2. Yadah: To stretch out the hands, confess, publicly acknowledge.
3. Barak: To kneel, bless, remember joyfully, adore.
4. Tehillah: Laud, praises sung extravagantly, celebration.
5. Zamar: To involve instrumental music in accompanying the voice.
6. Todah: Thanksgiving with hands extended, a sacrifice of praise.
7. Shabach: To shout, command, boast, exclaim praise with a loud voice, proclaim victory over the enemy, give forth a war cry.
The following is our commitment to build and maintain a worshipping church:
1. We are committed to sustaining a fervent spirit of worship in our congregation through the biblical expression of worship as taught in Scripture. (1 Pet. 2:5-9)
2. We are committed to maintaining proper spiritual preparation for worship through pre-service prayer for all worshippers, especially those who lead in worship. (Gen. 35:2-3, Ex. 30:18-21; 40:12-16, Heb. 10:22)
3. We are committed to furthering a spirit of excellence in our music (mentioned 839 times in the Bible) and worship ministry excellence in attitudes, ability, skill, and modesty in dress/appearance.
4. We are committed to the River of God being the Power and the Purpose for our worship. We are not interested in techniques, methods or creativity that does not enhance the River of God. All songs and worship wether vocal or instrumental should be in the River of God, in the flow of the Holy Spirit. At Victory we are a people of His presence! (Acts 3:19)
5. We are committed to teaching that the Tabernacle of David is a pattern of New Testament worship. (This pattern provides the order for all singers and musicians)
6. We are committed to creativity and spontaneity as it is rooted in God’s Word, allowing for new, contemporary, cutting edge expressions in both music and song. God is alive – living, changing and growing through us – so our worship must be new, growing, changing and open to what God is desiring to do and say in our worship.
7. We are committed to worship and praise through instruments (Ps. 150) and we will seek to nurture and develop more skilled musicians, singers and more prophetic spirit upon the instruments. In order to maintain the Biblical pattern (1 Chron. 25), achieve order and maintain a spirit of excellence in our worship services, only appointed singers and musicians should lead the congregation in worship and all instruments should be played as a part of the worship team under the direction of the Worship Minister from the platform.
8. We are committed to nurturing a dynamic, unified, committed, spirited, anointed, flexible, prophetic, cutting-edge, edifying, stronghold-breaking, devil-chasing, worshipping church. (1 Chron. 15:16; 2 Chron. 20:21; Neh. 7:1)
Seven Spiritual Basics Form the Foundation for our Worship at Victory:
(1 Chron. 25:1-7; Jer. 30:21)
1. A Spirit of Dedication! ( 1 Chron. 25:1; Josh. 14:8,9,14; Rom. 12:1; 2 Tim. 4:6; 1 Thess. 5:23)
2. Prophetic Anointing! ( 1 Chron. 25:1)
3. Skill and Discipline! ( 1 Chron. 25:1)
4. A Servant’s Heart! ( 1 Chron. 25:2)
5. A Teachable and Submissive Spirit! ( 1 Chron. 25:2,3,6)
6. A Commitment to the House of the Lord! (1 Chron. 25:6)
7. Instruction in the Song of the Lord! (1 Chron. 25:7)
A healthy Worship Ministry is vital to sustaining an open Gate to Heaven and enjoying the Power of God’s presence. Worship is a very important key to establishing an atmosphere where people can seek God for who He is and not just what He can give. Worship helps to purify our motives for wanting an audience with the Lord. It is through true worship that the hidden agendas in our hearts are exposed so that we can enter His presence seeking Him and Him alone!
